stuff like this really freaks me out. the argument that teaching creationism in high schools encourages critical thinking is the largest pile of poo. critical thinking is not ignoring evidence. someone needs to seriously mess with texas and get on the freakin evolution train because, like robert kuhn says "two plus 2 is not five".
i have never understood why believing in god means you can't believe in evolution, its beautiful people, and any god would be proud.

One of my favourite things about the Academy of Sciences Museum is that there's a thing there, describing one of the exhibit, that says 'Evolution continued, without outisde influence, for 3 billion years.'
Though, that they had to actually write that... kinda sad.
